My mother was in the workplace most of the time. She had three offices to take care of. It would seem rather too much for most people to do three jobs. Some would even find ways to be displeased with their only job. My mother is an example of what you might say being a christian in the workplace. Her dedication to do 3 jobs was because she wanted to help more people. In as much as her abilities and capacity to work can handle, she made sure that she gave everything in what she does. Not only does she take care of the people in her workplace, she also placed in her shoulders the responsibility to take care of her parents and siblings. The reason why she worked so hard was because she wanted these people to always be happy and free of problems. This for her was already her true happiness and reward.

Sunday, February 19th, 2012The Faith of a Mustard Seed
Friday, January 27th, 2012In many Bible verses about faith, faith is often regarded as an ability of man – the ability of man to receive the goodness there is in God. “According to your faith” is the phrase used to measure how much we receive and how much we do. So then it is seen that faith has become the bounds of our life. Surprisingly, little is required of us – faith like that of a mustard seed. The rest is now supplemented by the activity of a Supreme Being. Although it is still in-question if how much is little, we can be sure that “little” is man’s perspective. That’s the message – faith of little amount. So why bend it to say that it is from God’s perspective? Anyway, as mentioned, the rest is supplemented by God. Although it can’t be proven, who knows that God really is the one who watered it to full growth? So, faith then is the little ability of man watered to grow to enable him to receive the goodness there is in God.
